Kim Kardashian West

Hair by Chris Appleton

“Since she was wearing an elegant dress we wanted to keep glam soft and classic” – Chris Appleton

Tips and Techniques:
  1. First I blow-dried the hair with the ghd air hairdryer (£99) and a large round brush on medium heat to add shine and seal the cuticle.
  2. Next I look small sections of the hair and teased the root to add volume and fullness.
  3. I used the ghd curve soft curl tong (£129) and took large sections of the hair and wrapped around the iron to create soft waves.
  4. To finish the look I used a rack comb to gently brush the curls for soft texture.

Hair by celebrity hairstylist and ghd Brand Ambassador, Justine Marjan

“We opted for a chic, textured bob to offset the glamour of her yellow dress. I loved keeping the understated cool girl vibe to her hair like a modern ‘How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days’ Kate Hudson moment.” – Justine Marjan

Tips and Techniques:
  1. First I prepped her damp hair with a thickening balm and blow-dried the hair with the ghd air hairdryer (£99).
  2. Next I added in extensions for added fullness.
  3. Then I sprayed the hair with a flexible hairspray in horizontal sections then brushed through the hair and added a bend with the ghd platinum+ styler (£189) to create loose waves.
  4. Next I sprayed a volumizing dry shampoo throughout for lift and used a toothbrush to brush down any flyaways.
  5. To finish the look, I used a small amount of styling cream through the ends.

Hair by celebrity hairstylist, Ursula Stephen

“Tonight’s look was extra special because Zendaya went back to red hair! To complement the vibrant colour, we decided to go for old Hollywood inspired soft waves, which went well with her jewel tone green dress and diamonds, for the ultimate Hollywood starlet style.” – Ursula Stephen

Tips and Techniques:
  1. To create her look, I cleansed and conditioned her hair and added a cream to moisturise her curls.
  2. Next I blow-dried the hair with the ghd air hairdryer (£99) and a paddle brush.
  3. After blow-drying the hair, I took medium sections and created on-base curls using the ghd curve soft curl tong (£129) for a tight ringlet.
  4. Next I brushed all the curls vigorously to blend them all together and create the wave pattern.
  5. Once the waves were set, I removed the pins and shaped the waves around her face and finished with a finishing hairspray.
