J O Academy joined John Frieda and some of hairdressing's biggest names recently to support HAIRraising, a fundraising appeal that invites the hairdressing community to come together to help raise £1 million towards new operating theatres at Great Ormond Street Hospital. The operating theatres will be used to help children from all over the UK who require specialist neurosurgery.

Joshua Galvin @ Central is celebrating 25 years of education this summer. The Academy began their education journey in 1985 when Joshua Galvin worked with Central Training Group's Chairman, Martin Kolton, to form Joshua Galvin Academy. The programme started with a mere fifteen learners, which grew over a number of years with Joshua Galvin remaining involved on a personal basis, inspiring and motivating young people from all backgrounds.
