Hairdressing City & Guilds VRQ Diploma Level 3

Practical work is carried out in a simulated environment. In addition to this we recommend you spend one day per week in a commercial salon on a work placement.
You will study the following core and specialist units:
* Advanced cutting techniques
* Colour correction and advanced colouring techniques
* Indian head massage
* Photographic and show work
* Fulfill reception
* Stock control and business systems
* Maintaining salon displays
You will also be given the opportunity to take part in hairdressing competitions and hairdressing design skills, manufacturer's courses and visits to trade shows.
Functional skills like English and Enterprise are also a compulsory part of this programme.
