Hairdressing City & Guilds VRQ Diploma Level 2

Practical work is carried out in a simulated environment. In addition to this we recommend you spend one day per week in a commercial salon on a work placement.
You will study the following core and specialist units:
* Client consultation
* Shampooing/conditioning the host
* Blow drying and setting hair (including long hair work)
* Cutting techniques
* Perming techniques
* Developing yourself in the role
* Health and Safety
* Reception
You will also be given the opportunity to take part in hairdressing competitions and hairdressing design skills, manufacturer's courses and visits to trade shows.
